I bought 8 Standish Way Unit 8 in December of 2005 and lived there for 8 1/2 years. I paid $205,000 while the market was just starting to quickly decline. Before I paid $205,000, someone paid $249,000 for one of the condos in the same complex just months before. After about 4 years I had a professional come to remodel the entire condo with Berber rugs, quality paint and matching fixtures. A few years after that I remodeled the upstairs bathroom with ReBath® Manchester who did an incredible job. Finally, during my last year living there I chopped off the current 3' x 5' balcony, constructed an 11' x 11' deck with stairs, and put in a 15' x 15' patio underneath it. As you can see in the pictures above, it looks very nice!

Over the bext 5-7 years the condo dropped as low as $130,000 and bounced back to $242,000, all while I rented it to the most adorable family for all 7 years. I sold it for $242,000 after they left and wish the best of luck to the new family that moved in. Pilgrim Hills is a great small community of people, but both my family and the tenant's family grew out of the condo into bigger spaces.
